Muslim Sharia or Islamic laws are the predefined rules and laws which should be implemented in a Muslim’s everyday life. These laws give an insight to the spirit of Islam. No harm should be done to the sick, elders, women and children. A place of worship should not be destroyed. It could either be a church or any shrine. The prisoners of war need to be treated well and there should be no force used to convert them to Islam. The people who have surrendered, need to be treated well. Animals should not be killed un necessarily except if they are to be taken as food. Islam takes care of each and every individual and the Sharia laws are given according to the interest of the whole society.
Muslim Sharia defines these laws in Quran and the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (saw). These laws are defined for all times. One may wonder that laws defined 1400 years ago may have become outdated but in reality these laws are defined till end of this world. If these laws are implemented in a Muslim’s life, there would be peace in his life and if these are imposed in a Muslim society, it would bring prosperity and harmony. There would be justice and equality and no one would be above law. Every person would be accountable for his act and justice would be served.
